About The Position

Join our dynamic team and play a critical role in optimizing our production flow! We are seeking highly motivated and skilled Forklift Operators to work on 1st Shift, with expertise on a sit-down forklift in a fast-paced production environment. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient, and safe movement of paper corrugated materials throughout our facility, scanning each load and identifying current location with each move, ensuring seamless production and adherence to stringent quality standards.

Requirements

Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, preferably within the corrugated industry.
Proven proficiency in forklift operation with a strong emphasis on safety.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective teamwork.
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Availability to work overtime as needed (up to 12 hours and/or weekends)

Responsibilities

Adhere to all safety protocols and conduct thorough pre-shift forklift inspections, documenting findings and reporting maintenance needs. Must drive forklift equipment with 100% safely compliance at all times.
Operate forklifts with a focus on safety and efficiency to transport materials within the production and warehouse areas.
Proactively manage material flow to production lines, ensuring timely and accurate staging to maintain uninterrupted operations.
Accurately scan and transfer finished goods to designated warehouse locations, maintaining precise inventory records.
Strategically stack and organize materials to maximize warehouse space and prevent damage.
Work closely with other material handlers and warehouse personnel to achieve operational objectives.
Ensure the integrity of materials and finished goods during handling and transport.
