About The Position

As a Forklift Operator in our manufacturing facility, you’ll play a vital role in keeping materials and products moving safely and efficiently. You’ll be responsible for loading, unloading, staging, and relocating stock to keep production flowing and inventory organized. Your work helps support a team that transforms recycled paper into high-quality corrugated sheets for our customers.

Requirements

  • Dependable and show up ready to work every day
  • Experienced forklift operator who prioritizes safety and accuracy
  • Understand how to navigate a busy manufacturing environment and manage time well
  • Able to read and follow written instructions in English, including schedules and labels
  • Comfortable using basic computer systems to track inventory
  • Able to read a tape measure and perform basic math to track volume and placement
  • Take pride in working independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible and willing to assist across departments when needed
  • Detail-oriented and care about doing things the right way
  • Eager to learn, grow, and contribute to the team’s success
  • Must be available for overtime and occasional weekend work as needed
  • Able to lift and move up to 40 pounds
  • Some walking, bending, and reaching will be required during your shift
  • Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as hearing protection, protective footwear, and safety glasses at all times

Nice To Haves

  • Valid forklift certification
  • Prior forklift experience in a manufacturing setting

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a forklift throughout the facility, following all company safety protocols
  • Complete forklift inspection forms before each shift and report any maintenance needs
  • Locate and deliver raw materials to machines on time and remove finished goods as needed
  • Keep stock organized and safely stacked in designated storage areas
  • Track material locations accurately using paperwork and basic computer systems
  • Assist other forklift drivers and support various departments as needed
  • Follow the production schedule and help identify ways to optimize workflow
  • Complete production and safety reports accurately and on time
  • Keep work areas clean and comply with housekeeping standards
  • Follow all company policies and maintain a safe working environment
