About The Position

This role is responsible for operating a forklift in a cold atmosphere (0 degrees or less) to rotate and pull product by earliest dates, maintain accurate inventory, and load and unload trucks. The position requires basic math skills, the ability to prepare department paperwork with legible handwriting, and the ability to work without direct supervision until the job is completed. The operator must also maintain forklift licenses within 10 days and communicate effectively with proper personnel. Adherence to all department safety rules is mandatory. This position may be subject to rotation.

Requirements

• Basic math skills.
• Ability to prepare department paperwork.
• Keep accurate paperwork and have legible handwriting.
• Must have 3 months of accumulative forklift experience.
• Ability to work in cold atmosphere 0 degrees or less.
• Ability to work without direct supervision until job is completed.
• Must be able to lift 70 pounds.
• Must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays.
• Must have only worked at Tyson no more than three times, 180 days rehire waiting time.
