About The Position

The Forklift Operator prepares batches, loads and unloads trucks, and maintains accurate paperwork in a productive, safe, and efficient manner. The position also supports product inventory control, warehouse organization, and compliance with company safety and quality procedures.

The normal shift runs from 9:25 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., Sunday through Thursday, with overtime as needed on Friday. The starting pay rate is $22.05 per hour, plus a $1.25-per-hour shift differential. Century Foods International manufactures and markets dairy proteins and nutritional products under private-label and contract manufacturing agreements for the food, sports, health, and nutritional supplement industries.

Requirements

• Able to acquire and maintain a forklift certification.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Able to lift 55 pounds on a continuous basis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare batches.
• Load and unload trucks efficiently.
• Keep accurate documentation and paperwork.
• Maintain and assist with product inventory control.
• Maintain and help keep the warehouse clean and organized.
• Report forklift maintenance needs to the supervisor.
• Help keep walkways and fire exits clear and visible.
• Follow Century Foods International policies, safety rules, Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, and SQF procedures.
• Assist with other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
