Forklift Operator - Onsite

Millenniumsoft•Suwanee, GA
•Onsite

About The Position

The Forklift Operator works in a fast-paced, same-day-ship warehouse or distribution center and follows established procedures to operate powered industrial trucks safely and efficiently. The role involves moving goods between storage areas, machinery, loading docks, vehicles, and other warehouse locations, as well as assisting with receiving, stocking, storing, recording, and dispatching goods. After training, most of the workday will be spent driving, although the operator may be asked to support other warehouse tasks. Associates are assigned a primary position but must be willing to perform different duties as needed, including sorting, loading, picking, packing, receiving, and put-away work. Accuracy is preferred over speed. The position is onsite at the Suwanee Office in Georgia, pays $19.00 per hour, and is temp-to-hire. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with shifts that may range from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; mandatory overtime may occur. The warehouse can be noisy. A daily morning meeting covers the workload and gives associates an opportunity to raise concerns. One earbud may be used for music or a podcast; active phone conversations, looking at screens, and wearing two earbuds are not permitted. Attendance expectations include a five-minute grace period, and lunch and break times are strictly enforced.
