About The Position

Quad is seeking Forklift Operators to join their Hartford manufacturing team. This role involves working directly with production teams to move paper, materials, and finished products throughout the facility, ensuring printing equipment is supplied and customer orders remain on schedule. This is not a traditional warehouse role, but rather one that is integral to the manufacturing process.

Requirements

• Previous forklift operating experience is strongly preferred.
• Manufacturing, warehouse, shipping, logistics, distribution, or material-handling experience.
• Experience loading and unloading trailers is preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory systems.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other powered material-handling equipment.
• Supply printing and finishing equipment with paper and production materials.
• Transport raw materials and finished products throughout the facility.
• Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently.
• Maintain inventory using RF scanners and computerized systems.
• Perform routine equipment inspections.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
