About The Position

Laredo BSL Inc. seeks a responsible, safety-conscious, and team-oriented Forklift Operator with warehouse operations experience. The role operates forklifts to support warehousing, shipping, receiving, and internal material movement while maintaining company quality and safety standards. Duties include handling freight, performing daily equipment inspections, and keeping work areas clean, organized, and safe.

The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with a one-hour unpaid meal break. Occasional overtime after regular business hours or Saturday morning work may be required based on operational needs. Experience with specialized forklift attachments is highly preferred.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating reach forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Ability to load, unload, stage, and move freight safely and efficiently.
• Knowledge of safety practices related to material-handling equipment.
• Experience with warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, and basic inventory control.
• Ability to perform daily forklift inspections and identify equipment requiring maintenance or repair.
• Ability to maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Ability to follow operating procedures, safety policies, and work instructions.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience operating forklift attachments beyond standard forks, such as pole attachments, paper roll clamps, carton clamps, roll clamps, reach attachments, or other specialized attachments.
• Occasional availability to work after 6:00 p.m. and/or on Saturday mornings.
