About The Position

The Forklift Operator works primarily in a freezer environment, operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to support order fulfillment and inventory movement. The role involves working in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods and supporting warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment. Proper cold-weather gear is provided.

Requirements

• Prior forklift operating experience is required; certification is preferred.
• Ability and willingness to work in sub-zero freezer temperatures for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Reliability and teamwork in a physical work environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer.
• Pre-employment drug testing is required.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift certification.
• Previous warehouse, freezer, food distribution, or cold-storage experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down, stand-up, or reach forklifts in freezer storage environments.
• Load, unload, move, and stack pallets safely and efficiently.
• Support picking, staging, and replenishment of customer orders.
• Receive, stock, and rotate inventory using FIFO practices.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Maintain organized storage areas and accurate inventory counts.
• Follow all safety procedures and company SOPs.
• Work with warehouse and office teams to meet daily shipping goals.
