About The Position

This position is temporary and is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

• Must have 3 months of accumulative forklift experience.
• Must have only worked at Tyson no more than three times, 180 days rehire waiting time.

Responsibilities

• Basic math skills.
• Prepare department paperwork.
• Keep accurate paperwork and have legible handwriting.
• Rotate and pull product by earliest dates.
• Sweep and maintain good housekeeping in areas.
• Maintain accurate inventory.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Maintain forklift licenses within 10 days.
• Able to communicate with proper personnel.
• Ability to work in cold atmosphere 0 degrees or less.
• Ability to work without direct supervision until job is completed.
• Must be able to lift 70 pounds.
• Must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays.
• Must abide by all department safety rules.
• May be subject to rotation.
