About The Position

This position is temporary and is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The role involves various tasks related to material handling and inventory management within a cold environment.

Requirements

• Basic math skills.
• Ability to prepare department paperwork.
• Ability to keep accurate paperwork and have legible handwriting.
• Ability to rotate and pull product by earliest dates.
• Ability to sweep and maintain good housekeeping in areas.
• Ability to maintain accurate inventory.
• Ability to load and unload trucks.
• Ability to maintain forklift licenses within 10 days.
• Ability to communicate with proper personnel.
• Ability to work in a cold atmosphere of 0 degrees or less.
• Ability to work without direct supervision until job is completed.
• Ability to lift 70 pounds.
• Ability to work Saturdays and Sundays.
• Ability to abide by all department safety rules.
• Must have 3 months of accumulative forklift experience.
• Must have only worked at Tyson no more than three times, with a 180-day rehire waiting time.
• The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
