About The Position

Ring's End, Inc. is hiring a full-time Forklift Operator / Yard Helper to support lumberyard operations in the Darien, Connecticut area. The role involves loading and unloading building materials, helping customers with product inquiries, locating and loading materials into vehicles, moving materials around the yard, and keeping materials organized. The operator also reads receipt tickets, operates and maintains equipment, follows safety protocols, and assists with other tasks as needed. Responsibilities

• Load and unload building materials using lumberyard machinery and equipment.
• Assist customers with inquiries and discuss products and issues.
• Help customers find and identify materials and load them into vehicles.
• Read receipt tickets.
• Move materials throughout the lumberyard and keep building materials organized.
• Operate and maintain machinery and equipment, including forklifts, saws, and trucks.
• Follow safety protocols.
• Help wherever else needed to support lumberyard operations.
