Forklift Operator Warehouse Trainee

Lamb Weston•American Falls, ID

About The Position

Under the supervision of the Cold Storage Lead and direction of the Manager, this position supplies the correct product to and from railcars and trucks and directs and records loading. The role supplies and removes bulk product for packaging lines and bin dumps; checks, accepts, stores, and re-warehouses product packaged or processed during the shift; receives inbound dry supplies and chemicals; records quantities and distributes them to storage or usage areas; and delivers required supplies to packaging lines according to written and verbal instructions to support plant operations. The operator removes finished-product pallets from manufacturing areas, verifies case counts, item IDs, and bay locations, and transfers product to the appropriate bay. Product is stored using first-in, first-out rotation, with partial pallets consolidated as needed so earlier code dates ship first. The operator stages and loads orders according to Bills of Lading, inspects trailers and trucks before loading, records shipment details, verifies loaded quantities, counts inventory as needed, and prioritizes tasks to supply process lines and support budgeted production flows.
