Forklift Operator Warehouse Trainee

Lamb Weston•American Falls, ID

About The Position

This position works under the supervision of the Cold Storage Lead and direction of the Manager. It supplies product to and from railcars and trucks, directs and records loading, supplies and removes bulk product for packaging lines and bin dumps, and checks, accepts, warehouses, and re-warehouses product processed or packaged during the shift. It also receives inbound dry supply materials and chemicals, records quantities, and distributes supplies to appropriate storage or usage areas to maintain accurate inventories and ensure production supplies are available. The role delivers supplies to packaging lines according to written and verbal instructions to support plant operations. The operator removes finished-product pallets from manufacturing areas, verifies case counts, item IDs, and bay locations, and transfers products to the appropriate bays. Product is stored using first-in, first-out rotation; partial pallets are consolidated when needed so earlier code dates ship first. The operator stages and loads orders according to bills of lading, inspects trailers and trucks before loading, records inspection results, reports discrepancies, documents shipped items and quantities, and double-checks loaded orders. The position also counts inventory as needed and prioritizes tasks to supply production lines with the materials and support required for budgeted line flows. The position is located in American Falls, Idaho. The stated hourly pay rate is $22.37. The role requires working all shifts listed (7 a.m.–7 p.m. and 7 p.m.–7 a.m.) and availability for scheduled and unscheduled overtime.
