From your PASSION to ours: LACTALIS USA, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Warehouseperson based in Buffalo, New York. Weekend work is required, days off are during the week. Summary: Performs functions directly related to a manufacturing facility. Perform shipping and receiving functions as well as computer transactions daily.
Requirements
- Experienced forklift operation knowledge.
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
Nice To Haves
- Perishable and dry goods warehouse experience preferred.
- Strong communication abilities, written and verbal.
- Knowledge of computer software, inventory control, cycle counts, and FIFO systems formats preferred.
- AS400 Prism knowledge a plus.
Responsibilities
- Operates a forklift in a safe and responsible manner.
- Documents safety checks on tow motor prior to use.
- Ensures accurate documentation of all inbound paperwork.
- Completes activity movement sheets daily.
- Rotates stock in a FIFO format.
- Selects the proper product for production needs.
- Maintains a clean work environment daily.
- Maintains and operates the RF terminals daily.
- Works closely with the production departments.
- Maintains open communication between fellow workers.
- Reports any product or property damage to supervisor.
