From your PASSION to ours: LACTALIS USA, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Warehouseperson based in Buffalo, New York. Weekend work is required, days off are during the week. Summary: Performs functions directly related to a manufacturing facility. Perform shipping and receiving functions as well as computer transactions daily.

Requirements

  • Experienced forklift operation knowledge.
  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Nice To Haves

  • Perishable and dry goods warehouse experience preferred.
  • Strong communication abilities, written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of computer software, inventory control, cycle counts, and FIFO systems formats preferred.
  • AS400 Prism knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Operates a forklift in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Documents safety checks on tow motor prior to use.
  • Ensures accurate documentation of all inbound paperwork.
  • Completes activity movement sheets daily.
  • Rotates stock in a FIFO format.
  • Selects the proper product for production needs.
  • Maintains a clean work environment daily.
  • Maintains and operates the RF terminals daily.
  • Works closely with the production departments.
  • Maintains open communication between fellow workers.
  • Reports any product or property damage to supervisor.
