About The Position

Forklift Operators are essential to keeping Quad's manufacturing operations running smoothly. In this role, you will work directly with production teams, moving paper, materials, and finished products throughout one of Quad's largest manufacturing facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that printing equipment has the necessary supplies to keep customer orders on schedule. This is not a typical warehouse position; it involves direct interaction with the production process in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Previous forklift operating experience is strongly preferred.
• Manufacturing, warehouse, shipping, logistics, distribution, or material-handling experience.
• Experience loading and unloading trailers is preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory systems.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other powered material-handling equipment.
• Supply printing and finishing equipment with paper and production materials.
• Transport raw materials and finished products throughout the facility.
• Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently.
• Maintain inventory using RF scanners and computerized systems.
• Perform routine equipment inspections.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
