We are currently looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused individual for the position of Forklift Operator - Order Builder evening shift. The Forklift Operator - Order Builder prepares customer orders for delivery with the safe operation of a lift truck. Together with other team members, the Forklift Operator works to exceed customer expectations. The shifts are Monday - Friday 1pm -9:30pm (evening shift), the wage range is $21.50 - $26 per hour (Tier 1: $21.50 - $23.75, Tier 2: $23.75 - $26).

Requirements

  • Valid forklift certification (propane).
  • Minimum of two years' experience.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of basic mathematics.
  • Basic hand tool skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily inspections of lift trucks and complete required forms.
  • Ensure lift truck maintenance and servicing requirements are met.
  • Build orders to required specifications for delivery.
  • Load and unload building materials in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Check load contents for accuracy and secure materials.
  • Ensure that all products are shipped on schedule and according to specific instructions by management to meet customer demands.
  • Maintain contact with supervisors and work to resolve issues as they arise.
  • Act as an ambassador of the company with all employees and customers.
  • Follow all regulations, company policies, and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
