Order Builder
About The Position
Swire Coca-Cola is one of the largest bottlers of Coca-Cola in North America, distributing over 50 beverage brands and flavors to more than 30 million consumers across 13 states with a team of over 8,000 employees. As an Order Builder, you will be a key member of the Warehouse team, responsible for ensuring customers receive accurate and timely orders. Your primary duties will involve building delivery loads by pulling defined quantities of inventory onto pallets to fulfill customer orders for shipment. This role operates within a fast-paced warehouse environment, utilizing powered industrial trucks, and requires strict adherence to all warehouse safety standards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma (or GED) required
- Ability to obtain pallet jack operator certification within one month after hire date
- Ability to perform essential functions with little or no supervision
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business
- Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently; may be repetitive
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a warehouse environment preferred
- Prior experience using a pallet jack (manual or power) or forklift preferred
Responsibilities
- Utilize voice-picking software and operate powered industrial equipment (pallet jack and/or hand truck) to build orders by pulling defined quantities of inventory onto pallet(s)
- Build accurate, quality product orders and ensure the order is secure for transport before being loaded into the truck for delivery
- Stage completed pallets in designated shipping area(s)
- Perform daily inspection and minor maintenance (as needed) on equipment to ensure safe operation of equipment
- Complete training requirements
- Restock product in picking areas as needed
- Attend meetings as assigned and assist with special projects and events
