About The Position

Receives, stores, and distributes products in refrigerated and/or frozen warehouse rooms. The work environment is a freezer maintained at 0 degrees. The role includes loading and unloading products, moving materials with powered lifting equipment, storing and sorting items, picking orders, and recording receipts and distributions. Heavy lifting up to 70 pounds is required. Available schedules include second shift (Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM), third shift (Sunday–Thursday, 11:00 PM–7:30 AM), fourth shift (Saturday/Sunday, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM; Monday/Tuesday, 11:00 PM–7:30 AM), and fifth shift (Saturday/Sunday, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM; Monday/Tuesday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM).

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
Experience in order selecting, case picking, or high-volume warehouse picking environments is sought for ideal candidates.

Nice To Haves

Stand-up forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Load and unload product items and other materials onto and off pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
Read shipping orders and/or picking orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
Operate electric-powered forklifts or electric-powered hand trucks to transport loaded pallets to designated warehouse areas and storage racks.
Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, or product code.
Mark materials with identifying information.
Lift, count, sort, and place product items on pallets according to order-fill instructions or special requirements.
Prepare and record order-fill tickets and truck logs (load sheets) according to company standards.
Record the amount of materials or items received or distributed.
Weigh or count items for distribution within the plant to ensure conformance with company standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
