About The Position

Auer Steel & Heating Supply Co. is hiring a Forklift Operator/Material Handler for its Plymouth, Minnesota location. This role is suited to an organized, responsible, self-motivated, and detail-oriented individual interested in a career with an established company. The second shift runs from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., or until the job is done, and includes a $1.00 shift differential. Auer Steel is a wholesale distributor of HVAC equipment and supplies and has operated since 1940.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Organized, responsible, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Select and count materials according to the shipping slip.
• Stage and tag selected orders.
• Deliver materials to the will-call or shipping areas.
• Assist customers and/or drivers with loading materials into vehicles and trucks.
• Make labels for non-stock and special items.
• Pick will-call and Auer truck orders.
• Stage orders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
