This position is responsible for building custom orders to fulfill order requests and the transport of merchandise from trailers to storage locations and from storage areas to trailers for shipping.

Requirements

• Must be able to operate a lift truck.
• Must be able to complete paperwork as required.
• Must be able to wrap and band hard surface materials prepared on pallets.
• Must be able to prepare and package miscellaneous items in boxes for shipment.
• Must be able to tape and repair any damaged packages.
• Must be able to raise/lower dock plate
• Must be able to use orange cone system for full or empty trailers

Responsibilities

• Receiving a pull task with information on the hard surface material to be pulled and retrieving the correct material with a lift truck.
• Transporting a pallet by forklift to and from location.
• Complete paperwork as required.
• Wrap and band hard surface materials prepared on pallets.
• Prepare and package miscellaneous items in boxes for shipment.
• Tape and repair any damaged packages.
• Raise/Lower dock plate
• Use orange cone system for full or empty trailers
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager
