Requirements

• Must have a valid forklift license.
• Ability to operate a lift truck.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
• Experience with shipping and receiving procedures.

Responsibilities

• Build custom orders to fulfill order requests.
• Transport merchandise from trailers to storage locations and from storage areas to trailers for shipping.
• Receive a pull task with information on the hard surface material to be pulled and retrieve the correct material with a lift truck.
• Transport a pallet by forklift to and from location.
• Complete paperwork as required.
• Wrap and band hard surface materials prepared on pallets.
• Prepare and package miscellaneous items in boxes for shipment.
• Tape and repair any damaged packages.
• Raise/Lower dock plate.
• Use orange cone system for full or empty trailers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
