About The Position

We are seeking a Forklift Operator I, who is responsible for prepping shipments, loading, and unloading product, and supporting general warehouse operations using warehouse equipment.

Requirements

Required to take and pass the Company Forklift Certification program, which ensures you will be able to operate a forklift in accordance with Berlin Packaging’s safety guidelines. Failure to pass the exam results in the Company ending your employment.
Ability to complete tasks and solve problems with high attention to detail.
Demonstrate a strong work ethic and ability to learn.
Has a positive attitude and contributes to a positive team culture.
Self-motivated; reliable, with strong initiative and results orientation.
Model safe work practices.
Basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.
Prior warehouse and forklift operator experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate forklift, hand truck / warehouse carts, pallet jack, and/or other equipment in a professional and safe manner
Organize and prepare customer orders with a high degree of quality and accuracy
Transfer supplies from department to department to meet production or shipping demand
Properly store and label all materials and finished product
May prepare billing processes and paperwork for warehouse and drop ship orders
May be required to record transactions via computer in ERP system
Perform cycle counting as required
Notify leadership of non-compliant ware
Responsible for keeping the warehouse clean and organized to cGMP standards
Comply with all ISO standards
Support company and branch metrics
Fulfill the employee portion of the Berlin Values
Other tasks as required
