About The Position

Volt is immediately hiring Forklift Material Handlers in Rainsville, AL 35986. As a Forklift Material Handler, you will supply production lines with raw materials, moving work-in-process inventory, and maintaining efficient material flow throughout the facility.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Ability to obtain Forklift Certification
Previous stand-up forklift experience preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety

Responsibilities

Supply production lines with raw materials, moving work-in-process inventory, and maintaining efficient material flow throughout the facility.
Safely operate stand-up and LP forklifts to transport materials throughout the facility
Move work-in-process and finished goods through the production process
Maintain and replenish kit carts as required
Follow established receiving and inventory procedures
Organize, manage, and consolidate inventory in stockrooms and designated storage areas
Maintain knowledge of material locations and part identification
Assist with physical inventory counts and inventory accuracy initiatives
Operate industrial ovens and maintain proper varnish levels when assigned to CV operations
Utilize mechanical lifting devices for products exceeding 50 pounds
Maintain a clean, organized work environment following 6S and Lean Manufacturing principles
Meet department productivity, quality, and efficiency goals
Follow all safety policies, procedures, and required PPE guidelines
Perform additional duties as assigned to support business operations
