About The Position

This position is responsible for completing work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources. It involves collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners, identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations, and carrying out tasks. The role requires communicating progress and information, determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities, and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback. The position also manages freight flow by moving and loading freight manually and with powered equipment, such as a single and double pallet jack lift pacer. This includes identifying, counting, separating, combining, and scanning freight, utilizing warehouse management system terminal scales and scanners, and maintaining records, logs, and forms. Additionally, the role complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans, using the Open Door Policy, and applying these in executing business processes and practices. It also involves keeping the work area organized and maintaining freight flow by stacking empty pallets and moving empty pallets using a pallet jack and/or powered equipment, and monitoring freight to ensure cold chain and species compliance.
