Requirements

Legally authorized to work in the US.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to operate motorized equipment.
Lift 25 lbs.
Push 250 lbs roll of fabric on a cart.
Pull 50 lbs.
Work (3) 12-hour shifts.
Extensive standing and walking.
Excellent hand/eye coordination.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Adaptability – adapts to changes in the work environment.
Attention to detail – thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task ensuring all aspects are reviewed.
Ability to identify and classify defects.
Willing to work overtime.
Ability to communicate effectively.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Manufacturing experience.
Textile knitting experience.

Responsibilities

Operate and drive a propane forklift.
Maintain yarn beam in-house inventory and knit machine beam inventory.
Receive beam inventory at the dock from outside vendors.
Maintain empty beam and rack storage areas.
Load empty beams and racks onto outgoing scheduled trailers.
Pull knit rolls from in-house inventory to load onto designated outgoing trailers.
Receive and unload miscellaneous items as needed.
Use a scan gun to monitor beam and knit roll inventory.
Perform daily forklift checklist to verify proper lift running conditions.
Maintain a clean work area and observe all safety rules and procedures.
Perform other related duties as required or directed.
