About The Position
Ascend Staffing is hiring a Forklift Lead for a fast-paced freezer warehouse in Twin Falls, Idaho. The role involves operating a forklift to move, stage, load, and organize products while supporting inventory flow and maintaining organized work areas. Work takes place in a cold storage environment and requires focus, reliability, attention to detail, and safe equipment practices. The lead also helps guide team members and supports warehouse operations through effective communication and steady productivity. The position pays $26 per hour and is listed as temporary, with an anticipated start date of ASAP. The shift is 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Requirements
- Five years of forklift experience.
- Experience working in a freezer warehouse environment.
- Team leader experience in a warehouse or production setting.
- Reliable attendance and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-moving warehouse and cold storage environment.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
- May be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

- Willingness to work a swing shift schedule.
- Availability to work one Saturday per month.
Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift and/or hand truck to move products safely and efficiently.
- Use RF scanners to track inventory and maintain accuracy.
- Pick, wrap, stage, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Move materials to workstations, pick-up locations, and staging areas.
- Inspect forklifts and material-handling equipment and complete basic maintenance checks.
- Consolidate partial pallets and organize incoming goods.
- Follow quality standards, customer service expectations, and warehouse procedures.
- Support inventory flow and keep work areas organized.
- Help guide team members and communicate reliably with colleagues.
