Forklift Driver - First Shift

About The Position
This position is 100% outside. The Forklift Driver will operate a lift truck to pick orders, load and unload trucks and railcars. This role will also perform inventory control activities to ensure accurate product records and serve customers by providing accurate correspondence on inbound and outbound orders. The shift is 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, and the position offers steady hours, hands-on outdoor work, and opportunities for overtime. Starting pay is $20.00 to $22.50 per hour depending on experience.
Requirements
- Experience operating lift truck to load/unload lumber and steel products.
- Experience loading and unloading trucks and railcars using lift truck equipment
- Reliable transportation to report to scheduled shift and travel between facilities as needed
- Demonstrated accuracy in counting and completing paperwork
- Positive, clear, and professional communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
- Minimum 1 year of previous lift truck experience.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in warehouse environment
Nice To Haves
- Previous knowledge or a desire to learn about the product being handled
- Lumber and Steel experience is preferred.
