1st shift Forklift Driver
About The Position
Hanline Frozen Foods is seeking a first shift forklift driver for shipping and receiving purposes and provide support to our production floor. The Hanline Group is a food manufacturing, logistics and supply chain solution organization comprised of five different operating companies. Requirements
- Proven experience in materials handling and warehouse operations
- Proficient in operating forklifts and heavy equipment
- Familiarity with distribution center processes and order picking
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards
- Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate cherry pickers and clamp trucks
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a supervisory role is a plus
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload shipments, ensuring accuracy in order picking and shipping.
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards while handling materials and operating machinery.
- Maintain inventory records using warehouse management systems and RF scanners.
- Assist in training new staff and support warehouse supervisors in daily operations.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
