About The Position

The Forklift Driver is responsible for the proper and safe operation of forklifts to efficiently handle and deliver incoming and outgoing materials. This role involves loading and unloading stock, performing routine safety checks on equipment, and may include manual tasks such as breaking down and rebuilding pallets. General cleaning and maintenance are also part of the duties.

Responsibilities

• Proper operation of forklifts as it relates to keeping incoming and outgoing materials handled and delivered in an efficient and safe manner.
• Load and unload stock to and from trucks and delivering to stocking areas.
• Performing routine safety and maintenance checks on forklifts.
• May also be required to break down and rebuild pallets consisting of manually moving stock from one pallet to another.
• General cleaning and maintenance tasks are performed as needed.
