About The Position
This role involves operating an Auto-Bander machine, understanding load tally sheets, and interpreting specification sheets. The position requires problem-solving skills related to machine operation and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or GED
- Forklift certified or willing to become a certified forklift driver upon employment
- 3-5 years’ experience in the corrugated industry
- Passionate about maintaining a safe work environment
- Good attendance record
- Strong mechanical aptitude and possess problem solving skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to work any shift including overtime and weekends, as needed
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment
Responsibilities
- Understand and complete load tally sheets
- Perform duties necessary to run Auto-Bander
- Problem solve when issues arise with the machine
- Interpret all areas of the specification sheet and print card
