Forklift Driver
About The Position
This position is responsible for understanding and demonstrating knowledge in all systems required in the shipping role. The driver will work with customer service to ensure proper delivery of product to the customer and perform other duties as specified by the clerk, foreman, or supervisor. Key responsibilities include operating a powered industrial truck (PIT) with at least 1 year of experience, safely performing all work-related tasks, pulling pallets off main line stacking units in the warehouse, operating a VMU computer screen for product selection, and using an RF scanner for picking and locating units. The role also involves loading and unloading 53' dry curtain vans and containers, daily load planning, working with team members, timely completion of all required paperwork, and demonstrating proficiency in Head Loader, Line Puller, Pallet Runner, and Outside Warehouse positions.
