About The Position

This is a 3rd Shift position (10:30pm-6:30am) where the Forklift Driver is responsible for transporting products, packaging, and raw materials to and from production lines, packaging areas, and trailers. The role also involves organizing packaging and return areas, and loading or unloading trailers. The position requires the ability to work overtime, which may include varying start times, end times, and weekends depending on business needs.

Requirements

Forklift Certification
Ability to speak, write and read English
Willingness to work overtime as needed
Ability to work with minimum supervision
Can safely lift up to 50 pounds
Able to operate a stretch-wrapper
Promote teamwork, possess a good attitude, and exhibit flexibility and willingness to perform tasks as needed
Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods
Ability to bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 50 pounds repetitively

Responsibilities

Completes daily checklist form.
Replenishes fluids and generates maintenance work request forms for repairs needed.
Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Picks and stages packaging and supplies at work sites.
Receives materials from production by verifying and identifying information and quantity of materials, placing materials in inventory.
Loads and unloads trailers.
Verifies case/pallet counts and patterns. Reports any discrepancies to the floor and/or the department supervisor.
Conducts assigned work in a safe manner and adheres to all safety methods.
Adheres to all Good Manufacturing Practices.
Assists in the inventory reconciliation process.
Maintains a clean and neat work area at all times.
Maintains inventory control system by tracking, moving, and shipping the product using SAP system and/or Excel spreadsheet.
