About The Position
This role is responsible for providing raw glass and bright trim supplies to production lines, managing the removal of mold change components, and disposing of daily trash to the recycle area. The position ensures production lines are continuously supplied without an overabundance of materials in work areas and focuses on eliminating excessive packaging. The Forklift Driver will also assist in moving finished goods from the production floor to the warehouse and maintain the PVC Rack Area.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- High School Diploma.
- A minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide production lines with half of the required raw glass supplies.
- Provide production lines with half of the required bright trim supplies.
- Remove mold change components, including raw glass and bright trim, to logistics.
- Remove all daily trash to the recycle area.
- Move half of the day's supply to production lines.
- Ensure production is always running and prevent an overabundance of supplies in work areas.
- Eliminate all excessive packaging from production cells.
- 5s the entire PVC Rack Area.
- Assist with the production of finished goods, moving them from the production floor to the GP 12 AREA, and then to the Warehouse once approved.
- Make daily trips to remove product to prevent waiting and pile-ups of finished goods, allowing no more than 2 finished good racks in a cell at a time.
