About The Position

The Forklift Driver operates safely and efficiently to move products and raw materials between locations, load and unload trailers, and pull products for shipment to customers. The role requires following company policies, safety guidelines, standard operating procedures, and established forklift procedures. The driver completes a Forklift PM Checklist at the beginning of each shift and learns the products handled for customers, including where and how they are stored. Training covers workplace safety rules and regulations and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Forklift Operator Certification.
• Consistent, dependable attendance and willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
• Ability to manage job-related stress effectively and foster productive workplace interactions.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to move products and raw materials between locations.
• Load and unload trailers properly.
• Pull products for shipment to customers.
• Comply with company policies and safety guidelines.
• Follow established procedures, including standard operating procedures and safety procedures.
• Complete the Forklift PM Checklist at the beginning of each shift.
• Become familiar with customer products and where and how they are stored.
