About The Position

National Star Services, a 28-year-old facility management company with nationwide services, is seeking a Stand-up Forklift Operator for its location in South Windsor, CT. This role involves operating various types of forklifts to support warehouse operations, ensuring the safe and efficient movement, loading, and unloading of materials and products. The position is Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with a 2nd shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, and offers a starting hourly pay rate of $19.00 with weekly pay.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S
• Must have an updated resume.
• 2 years of experience operating a stand-up forklift.
• Have reliable transportation to and from the work site.
• Background Check and Drug test will be conducted.
• Availability to start working as soon as possible.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual (English & Spanish) is a plus.
• Stand-up Forklift Certification is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate Stand-Up Clamp, Pacer, and Reach Truck forklifts
• Support warehouse operations inside and outside the facility
• Operate forklift safely and efficiently to move, load, unload, and organize materials and products.
• Load and unload trucks and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
• Properly stage and organize products, pallets, and materials in designated areas.
• Inspect forklift equipment before use and report any safety or maintenance concerns.
• Assist with palletizing, wrapping, labeling, and preparing packages for shipment as needed.
• Perform general warehouse duties when forklift operations are limited or completed.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
