About The Position

This role involves operating a forklift to manage inventory, including loading, unloading, moving, stocking, sorting, and staging. The operator will transport materials within the facility, optimize loads for efficiency, and organize materials in designated areas. Key responsibilities include following inventory management protocols, assisting with inventory counts, securing loads, performing daily fork truck inspections, scheduling vehicle maintenance, identifying safety hazards, and adhering to safety and production schedules.

Nice To Haves

• Previous fork truck/lift experience - 5 years preferred
• Previous experience with manufacturing - 2 years
• Previous experience working in a team-based environment

Responsibilities

• Assist in inventory counts and report any discrepancies
• Securing loads to the machine before transportation.
• Inspecting for fork truck daily ensuring safe and working conditions.
• Scheduling vehicles for maintenance and repairs.
• Identifying workplace safety hazards.
• Adhering to safety management standards.
• Adhering to production work schedules.
