About The Position

The Fork Truck Operator (Dock) position is responsible for maintaining an organized, efficient, and compliant dock operation that supports daily production and material flow. Day-to-day general direction is provided by the Distribution Lead.

Successful completion of Level 3 skill blocks to support bulk offloading.
Exceptional interpersonal skills.
Exceptional multi-tasking skills.
Exceptional communication skills.
Ability to understand and use network computer applications and electronic mail.

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient dock area.
Maintain all retains in an orderly manner; send retains to Northgate when the area becomes full.
Unload all deliveries and Northgate shuttles arriving on the dock.
Verify Certificates of Analysis (C.of A) against current PLM.
Label all incoming pallets with correct allergen and pallet labels.
Store raw materials in the correct racks per racking labels. Follow allergen-safe storage practices.
Complete and submit all receiving documentation.
Assist with material moves between Northgate and the Plant.
Support FTO break coverage.
Coordinate material return to Northgate.
Complete required safety and quality training.
Label and tally co-packer outbound loads.
Complete in-house destruction paperwork for damaged material.
Assist with returning and re-labeling materials from PSA once orders are complete.
Support and backfill functions at the off-site warehouse location.
