About The Position

Amentum is seeking Fork Truck Drivers for their 1st Shift industrial maintenance team in Miami, FL. The typical work schedule is Monday - Friday 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, but hours may vary based on business demand. This role involves loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving warehouse items, and transporting materials within and outside the facility. The driver will maintain professional customer relations, participate in safety meetings, and adhere to safety work practices. Communication of MHE-related concerns to colleagues and management is also a key responsibility, along with performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent.
Must have previous fork lift operation experience and be able to pass fork lift certification.
Must have working knowledge of power and hand tools used in building and assembling boxes.
This position will require a valid Driver’s License.
Must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
This position may require communication in English.
This position will require the ability to obtain a security access badge at our client’s location.

Responsibilities

Loading, unloading, shipping and receiving warehouse items.
Transporting materials from one location to another inside and outside of facility.
Maintain professional and courteous customer relations including, client, vendor, and internal team.
Actively participate in safety meetings. Maintain safety work practices as define by Amentum.
Communicate and advise MHE related concerns to fellow employees and management.
Other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor/lead.
