The Great Basin Institute (GBI) is seeking a Forestry Stewardship Coordinator to support the planning, implementation, and monitoring of forestry and conservation projects within the Six Rivers National Forest. This position works under the supervision of the Forestry Operations Manager and is responsible for leading project delivery across all phases, coordinating day-to-day activities, supporting field staff, and serving as a primary point of contact for contractors. The role ensures project work aligns with contract specifications, environmental requirements, and program objectives, while maintaining effective coordination with agency partners and stakeholders. The position is primarily field-based but also requires significant office and computer-based work, including report writing, data analysis, and technical documentation preparation. Regular travel to project sites and partner offices is necessary. Field conditions may include uneven terrain, variable weather, and active operational settings.
