As a Forensic Accounting team member in Crowe’s Consulting Practice, you will play a pivotal role in helping clients resolve complex business challenges. Your responsibilities will involve analyzing financial data, conducting forensic investigations, and crafting innovative solutions that integrate both business acumen and technology. You’ll collaborate with clients across industries, providing litigation support, risk mitigation strategies, and insights that drive impactful results.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Exceptional analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proven ability to work independently while contributing to team success.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Commitment to quality, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours when required to meet client needs.
  • Comfortable in a hybrid work environment with minimal travel.
  • Enthusiastic about building professional networks and developing relationships with decision-makers.
  • College seniors or graduate students completing their studies in the coming year and are pursuing academic degrees in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • Pursuing or planning on obtaining 150 credit requirement and CPA license.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial documents for discrepancies and trace irregularities to their source.
  • Perform audits of financial records to ensure legal compliance and accuracy.
  • Research and prevent financial fraud through forecasting and risk assessment techniques.
  • Investigate complex business scenarios involving potential breaches, misconduct, or contractual violations.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations explaining findings, including revenue losses and damages.
  • Deliver forensic insights to legal teams and present findings for use as trial evidence.
  • Develop data-driven, quantitative analyses to support forensic investigations and compliance matters.
  • Ensure all engagements comply with relevant legal, professional, regulatory, and firm standards.
  • Lead or support project teams in executing high-quality, on-budget forensic engagements.
  • Anticipate and address project issues to ensure timely, effective delivery.
  • Clearly communicate complex technical concepts to clients in a non-technical manner.
  • Align forensic services with client business objectives through industry knowledge and benchmarking.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, understand their challenges and identifying solutions.
  • Drive business development by identifying new service opportunities and crafting effective go-to-market strategies.
  • Support firm growth by enhancing brand visibility and strengthening Crowe’s presence in the external market.
