About The Position

Meaden & Moore is offering Investigative Accounting Internship positions from May 2027 to August 2027, with flexible start and end dates. Interns will gain real-world experience in investigative accounting, working with commercial property insurers to evaluate physical damage and business income losses resulting from catastrophes. Projects involve analyzing financial data, projecting revenues and expenses, and evaluating insurance claims and economic damages across various industries. This is a fully onsite opportunity, with part-time internships requiring 20-29 hours per week and full-time internships requiring a minimum of 30 hours per week, up to 40 hours.

Requirements

  • Junior or senior level student
  • Accounting major
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Proficient understanding of Microsoft Windows and Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel skills that are considered to be an intermediate or advanced level.
  • Open to training in other Windows-based applications.
  • Motivation and enthusiasm.
  • Self-starters who demonstrate an interest in learning new skills and concepts, then put them to work for our clients.
