The Foreman is a working foreman position with superior experience and proven success in the leadership position. This role involves enforcing safe working practices, efficiently scheduling crews, maintaining records, assisting fellow workers, and maintaining good customer relations. The Foreman will communicate with customers about project-related issues and lead, train, and coach team members on proper pruning techniques. They will operate vehicles and equipment safely, assist in vegetation management and cleaning, and participate in storm restoration efforts. The Foreman ensures crew members carry out work as planned, adapts to changes, understands and adheres to the Line Clearance Contract, and communicates effectively with crew members and customers. Safety consciousness, participation in ongoing training, coordinating and inspecting crew work, and complying with company reporting procedures are also key responsibilities. Additionally, the Foreman will assist in on-the-job training for less experienced personnel, accept accountability for crew availability, and properly inspect Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Maintaining company vehicles, equipment, and tools in good working order is also required.
