The Foreman is a working foreman position with superior experience and proven success in the leadership position. This role involves enforcing safe working practices, efficiently scheduling crews, maintaining records, assisting fellow workers, and maintaining good customer and public relations. The Foreman will lead, train, and coach team members on proper pruning techniques, operate vehicles and equipment safely, and assist in visual observation and safety checks in vegetation management. The position requires readiness to join storm restoration efforts, ensuring crew members carry out work as planned, adapting to changes, and understanding and adhering to the Line Clearance Contract. Effective communication with crew members and customers is essential, as is being safety conscious and participating in ongoing training. The Foreman is responsible for coordinating and inspecting the work of crew members, safely performing tasks, complying with company reporting procedures, and assisting in on-the-job training for less experienced personnel. Accountability for crew availability and proper inspection of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are also key responsibilities. The role includes maintaining company vehicles, equipment, and tools in good working order, and ensuring crew members understand work directives and can communicate effectively with customers. The Foreman must demonstrate knowledge and experience required in subordinate positions and follow all Company Safety Rules and Company Policies and Procedures.
