About The Position

The Excellerate Foreman I is responsible for supervising electrical installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance within the commercial and industrial settings inside the Excellerate facility in Pittsboro, IN. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent work experience (8,000 hours)

Responsibilities

  • Supervising electrical installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Running a scope of work/project(s) with a crew of (1-10+) effectively.
  • Establishing expectations and motivating crews to consistently meet or exceed project goals.
  • Completing projects on time, within budget, and in a safe manner.
  • Completing basic paperwork (i.e., foreman logs, performance evaluations, purchase order logs, time cards, etc.) in a timely manner.
  • Managing resources (tools, equipment, staffing) within the crew.
  • Reading and understanding estimates, with the assistance of project management or superintendent, as a part of the installation and layout of a project.
  • Providing feedback and coaching to crew members.
  • Running a thorough ORM (On-site Risk Management).
  • Addressing and eliminating hazards by being conscious of safe and unsafe acts on the jobsite.
  • Enforcing and promoting workplace safety procedures (weekly toolbox talks, weekly safety audits, appropriate documentation, etc.).
  • Mentoring and developing others within projects and crews.
  • Supporting the usage of Faith internal resources to include, but not limited to Excellerate, Precon, APC, Productivity, Engineering, Estimating, etc.
  • Maintaining compliance with company policies; consulting with HR and/or Workforce Managers (PM if appropriate) to ensure consistent corrective measures are taken, and documentation completed.
  • Demonstrating excellent customer relations through utilization of effective problem-solving techniques.
  • Actively participating in Faith’s hiring referral and mentoring program, as appropriate.
  • Performing other related duties as required and assigned.
