About The Position

NSS Exteriors is a growing specialty contractor that installs skylights, architectural sheet metal, metal panels, glazing systems, and exterior building components throughout the Chicagoland area. We are looking for an experienced Foreman to lead a crew and help us continue to grow.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in construction, roofing, siding, sheet metal, glazing, skylights, carpentry, or a related trade.
Comfortable working at heights and using ladders and aerial lifts.
Ability to read plans and problem-solve in the field.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
Reliable, motivated, and looking for a long-term career.

Nice To Haves

Previous crew leader, lead installer, foreman, or supervisory experience preferred.
Experience with architectural sheet metal, ACM panels, skylights, commercial roofing, glazing, or exterior cladding systems is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Lead and direct a field crew on commercial and residential projects.
Install skylights, glazing systems, architectural sheet metal, ACM panels, and metal siding.
Coordinate daily jobsite activities and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
Read plans and solve field installation challenges.
Communicate with project managers, customers, and crew members.
Train and mentor crew members.
