About The Position

This role involves supervising and coordinating daily activities of construction crews, including carpenters and laborers. The Foreman will assign tasks, monitor productivity, and ensure work is completed according to project plans and specifications. A key aspect of the role is promoting and enforcing job site safety policies and procedures, while also communicating project progress, material needs, and workforce requirements to management. The Foreman will inspect work for quality and compliance with company standards, and will train, mentor, and support crew members to improve performance and workmanship. Additionally, the role requires coordination with subcontractors, vendors, and project managers to maintain project schedules, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe job site.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of construction trade experience
  • Previous supervisory or crew leadership experience preferred
  • Experience working as a Carpenter and/or Laborer, with demonstrated ability to lead and supervise field crews.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, tools, materials, and safety practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical labor for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA safety training or certification.
  • Experience leading commercial and/or residential construction projects.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
