About The Position

This role involves interpreting blueprints and P&IDs to understand and execute assigned work, including identifying necessary equipment and tools. The position requires working with piping systems to install instrumentation for proper system function, control, and monitoring. Responsibilities include using precision tools for calibration, adjusting electrical and piping components, and fabricating/installing piping and tubing according to specifications. Assistance with other duties, such as installing pipe, tubing, and related components, may also be required.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in instrumentation or comparable knowledge.
  • Ability to read blueprints and P&IDs.
  • Ability to work on low and high-pressure tubing/piping systems.
  • Possession of all journeymen tools and experience with associated power tools.
  • Ability to measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install primary piping and tubing.
  • Ability to check performance using testing and measuring instruments and make necessary adjustments.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Willingness to follow all company and project policies, rules, and guidelines.
  • Willingness to assist in any additional qualified duties assigned.

Nice To Haves

  • Current, ROF’ed, or Former Employee.
  • Formal education or vocational training.
  • Experience in instrumentation on a new construction facility.

Responsibilities
