About The Position

We are hiring 6 Foreman-level Heavy Equipment Operators for a large-scale civil infrastructure project supporting data center connectivity in Columbus, OH. This is a hands-on leadership role—you will operate equipment daily while leading crews on deep open-trench excavation work.

Requirements

• Foreman or Lead Operator experience
• Heavy civil / underground utility construction
• Track Hoe operation
• Trench protection & OSHA safety knowledge
• Experience with deep open-trench excavation
• Track Hoe operation (MUST)

Nice To Haves

• Backhoe operation
• Dozer operation
• Skid Steer operation

Responsibilities

• Operate Track Hoe / Excavator daily
• Perform deep trench excavation (10–15 ft)
• Place and manage trench boxes
• Use pipe lasers for grade accuracy
• Work safely around live utilities
• Read and follow blueprints and site plans
• Ensure trench protection and safety compliance
• Lead and coordinate field crews on civil construction work
