About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Foreman Electrician for commercial projects in the Trenton, NJ area. This role involves managing projects, leading a team, ensuring job-site efficiency, and successful project completion within deadlines and budgets. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical codes, experience with various conduit types, and excellent communication skills.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in commercial and industrial electrical projects
- 3+ years of experience leading a team of 3-5 electricians
- Capable of working in a high reach, scissor lift, and/or bucket truck
- Excellent communication skills, professional demeanor, and detail-oriented
- Certified in OSHA 10
- Strong knowledge of NEC
- Valid driver's license
Responsibilities
- Managing commercial and industrial electrical projects
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications while adhering to electrical codes
- Bending and installing RMC, IMC, and EMT
- Leading a team of electricians and assigning required daily tasks
- Tracking manpower for specific tasks and assuring efficient execution
- Job-site management ensuring the proper materials are onsite to perform the scope of work required to be completed
- Successful completion of projects within scheduled deadlines and budgets
- Coordinating and communicating project updates with the office team regarding change orders and other pertinent project information
- Strong communication with the onsite supervisor and other trades
- Completing and delivering as-builts and project closeout documentation
