Foreman - Door Hardware Installer
About The Position
Total Quality Services, a DH Pace Company, Inc., is hiring an Entry Door Hardware Installer in the Tampa, Florida area. The role involves safely and accurately installing doors and hardware while providing industry-leading customer service and maintaining quality workmanship in a team-based environment. The company seeks someone interested in serving as a field leader who helps oversee project sites while also performing installations. Work takes place in both shop and field/job-site settings. Experience with automatic doors, access control, glazing, closers, hollow metal, or another skilled trade may be relevant. Employment is contingent on successful completion of applicable employment verifications, a background check, drug screening, and driving-record review.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Ability to safely lift 100 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Welding experience is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Experience with automatic doors, access control, glazing, closers, hollow metal, or another skilled trade may be a good fit.
Responsibilities
- Install hardware on a wide range of commercial entry doors in shop and field/job-site settings.
- Repair, adjust, replace, and troubleshoot entry doors and associated hardware.
- Complete project-site documentation and coordinate daily field activities.
- Monitor other installers’ work assignments, productivity, quality, and safety.
- Operate in a safety-conscious manner.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
